  13.                            INTRODUCTION
  14.                            ============

  16. EASI-PLAN is a "shareware" program. IT IS NOT "freeware", 
  17. public domain software etc. After a free initial 30-day trial 
  18. period, every user who wishes to continue using EASI-PLAN must 
  19. register with the author, Invest-Tech, in order to upgrade to the
  20. latest fully-operational version. 
  21.  
  22. Invest-Tech Limited is a member of the Association of Shareware 
  23. Professionals (ASP). ASP wants to make sure that the shareware principle 
  24. works for you. If you are unable to resolve a shareware-related problem 
  25. with an ASP member by contacting the member directly, ASP may be able to 
  26. help. The ASP Ombudsman can help you resolve a dispute or problem with 
  27. an ASP member, but does not provide technical support for members' 
  28. products. Please write to the ASP Ombudsman at 545 Grover Road,

  32. In return for registering, a user receives the latest release of 
  33. EASI-PLAN Pro with its 190-page spiral-bound printed manual 
  34. (incorporating tutorial exercises etc.), gains access to full 
  35. support etc.

  37. For details of the User Licence Agreement for EASI-PLAN, refer to
  38. the accompanying README.TXT file.

  40. If you wish to secure a copy of EASI-PLAN Pro, the Registration Fee 
  41. is 60 pounds (US$95). The corresponding VAT amount is 12.60 
  42. pounds (at the Irish rate of 21%). Note: Pro is not available 
  43. on 5.25" disks.

  45. To secure a copy of EASI-PLAN Lite, a less powerful version of 
  46. EASI-PLAN Pro, the Fee is 45 pounds (US$70). The corresponding VAT 
  47. amount is 9.45 pounds.

  49. The Registration Fee for EASI-PLAN Micro is 30 pounds (or US$45) 
  50. plus VAT of 6.30 pounds.

  52. DO NOT ADD VAT if:
  53.  
  54.      Your business is located in an EU State other than Ireland
  55.      and you quote its VAT number when registering.

  57.      *or*
  58.      
  59.      You are located outside the EU.

  61. DO ADD VAT if you are located (a) in Ireland or (b) in another 
  62. EU State and are not registered for VAT.

  64. If located outside the UK or Ireland, add 10% for shipping etc.

  66. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, Access, MasterCard or 
  67. Eurocard). This is the preferred method.

  70. postal money orders and Eurocheques are acceptable provided that 
  71. they are denominated in pounds sterling, US$ or Irish pounds.

  77. Generally, we airmail copies of EASI-PLAN, manual etc. within 48 
  78. hours of receipt of payment.

  84. numbers listed at the end of this document.

  93. You can also upgrade and register directly with Invest-Tech via 
  94. our World Wide Web (WWW) site on the Internet using a credit 
  95. card and its special built-in forms. See bottom of file for 
  96. details of its location.  Our Web site, called PlanWare, 
  97. contains downloadable versions of *ALL* our financial planners 
  98. for businesses and the home. It also offers useful advice in 
  99. the form of text files on such topics as business planning, 
  100. cashflow forecasting etc. as well as lots of other interesting 
  101. stuff.

  144. Service (GO SWREG). EASI-PLAN Pro's Registration ID is 8019. If you wish
  145. to remotely upgrade your existing copy of EASI-PLAN, you should register
  146. via SWREG and immediately send us a separate CIS message quoting your 
  147. copy's unique 12-digit code number and advising of registration through 
  148. SWREG. Once notified by SWREG of your registration, we will send you the 
  149. corresponding Upgrade Code Number in a CIS mail message and post the 
  150. manual by 1st Air Mail.
